From March 24–27, our team headed to the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi to represent our chapter at the HOSA State Leadership Conference! It was an incredible week filled with professional growth, networking, and celebration.
The Highlights:
-
National Recognition: A huge shoutout to Meridian Students for winning the NMDP (National Marrow Donor Program) award for the most donations made!
-
Professional Showcasing: Meridian Students took part in a PSA Exhibition, where they had the opportunity to present our work and insights to fellow HOSA members from across the state.
-
Networking: We spent our time connecting with medical professionals and like-minded peers, gaining invaluable perspective on the future of healthcare.
The Team:
A special thanks to our dedicated group—Yaseen Aswad, Grace Zheng, Lydia Paltaty, Eriann Cruz, and our advisor, Mrs. Nolan—who all self-funded this trip to pursue this leadership opportunity.
