
Every day, from the moment class begins, 10th-grade history teacher Jennifer Radebaugh shines a light of positivity onto her students—whether the students are having a good or a bad day, she strives to make it better.
Ms. Radebaugh has taught at Meridian for three years both in 9th-grade Geography and 10th-grade World History. When asked why she decided to teach at Meridian, she remarked “I came to Meridian 1) Because I had family here, and 2) Because I had been with my last district for about 10 years and I needed a change in a big way.”
Many students have claimed to benefit from her unique teaching style and unwavering kindness. Hana Kazi, a 10th-grade student at Meridian, shared “Ms. Radebaugh has impacted my life for the better; she has always been super nice and kind. Her door is always open and she is always willing to listen.”
Shreya Vasanjee, a 10th-grade student at Meridian World School, stated “She makes learning enjoyable, and she teaches very clearly. She also will listen to you and help you if you need that help.”
The appreciative comments of her students show how Ms. Radenbaugh plays a vital role in the Meridian community, leaving a lasting impact on Meridian students’ educational experience.
Along with being a teacher at Meridian, Ms. Radebaugh enjoys many different hobbies outside of school in her free time. Some of these include playing and watching soccer, reading lots of books, and “spending time with family.” Additionally, Within the school community, she is a proud sponsor for the Baking and Cooking Club at Meridian.
In sum, Ms. Radebaugh is a wonderful teacher who is not only passionate about her job, but also her students. She is never one to back down from a challenge, and is always willing to adapt to new situations for the betterment of her classes. Thanks to her, students are excited to have such a superb teacher at Meridian.
